What is Endolift?
Endolift is an innovative, minimally-invasive alternative to a surgical facelift, which uses laser energy to tighten the skin and contour facial fat – with minimal downtime. The EndoLift offers a remarkable, non-surgical alternative to the traditional surgical facelift (or neck lift), as well as options for body contouring. The technology has been used for more than a decade and allows us to target similar areas to a face/neck lift – but by giving visible results without the cost, downtime or associated risks of surgery. The procedure is suitable for all skin types and colors and is performed under local anesthesia. It appeals to those seeking facial rejuvenation without undergoing surgery or extended recovery.
What Causes the Face and Neck to Sag?
With time, the soft tissues of the face and neck become lax – as a result of age, sun exposure or simply genetics. Meanwhile, the bony scaffolding of the face starts to reabsorb, while the facial muscles become weaker – resulting in a lack of structural support for the skin and underlying fat. This natural aging process leads to sagging skin, drooping jowls, and deepening folds that can make one appear older or fatigued. Understanding these causes helps patients choose appropriate treatments like Endolift that target both skin laxity and volume loss.
How Does the Procedure Work?
Endolift treatment utilises a 1470nm laser and works through single-use micro-optical fibre – as thin as hair – which is easily inserted under the skin into the superficial hypodermis. The laser energy selectively targets water and fat: effectively melting the fat while simultaneously stimulating collagen production. This causes immediate skin retraction and reduces skin laxity.
These fibers emit laser-induced selective heat energy, which reduces fat and shrinks the skin instantly. This is achieved by activating new collagen production and metabolic function in the extracellular matrix.
For body treatment, power was maintained between 18W and 22W, except in the submental region, inner arms, and thighs, where 14W to 16W was used.
Typically performed under local anesthesia in an outpatient setting, Endolift requires only one session lasting about 1–2 hours. Results develop gradually over three to six months as collagen remodeling continues.
Endolift or Surgical Facelift: How Does Endolift Compare?
Surgical face and neck lifts are highly effective for treating moderate to severe sagging and jowling, offering impressive results that last more than 10 years – though with more downtime and a higher cost.
By comparison, Endolift enables the tightening of mild to moderate loose skin while allowing us to reduce submental and jowl fat – making it an impressive alternative to surgery and allowing for a gradual correction.
While the tightening effects can last for 1 to 2 years, some patients and doctors report results lasting up to 5 years –compared to the 8 to 10 years of longevity you could expect from surgical facelift results.
Endolift is therefore the perfect procedure for patients who want a scar-less correction, with reduced cost and downtime.
It provides natural-looking improvements without incisions or general anesthesia. Although not as long-lasting as surgery, it’s ideal for those not ready or willing to undergo invasive procedures.
What is the Recovery and Downtime for Endolift?
Endolift is performed in an outpatient setting, so you can go home straight after treatment. There is no need for compression bandages or dressings. Following your procedure, redness and bruising may appear; however, this usually settles within 1 to 2 weeks, and most patients are able to return to social activities in 1 to 2 weeks.
Patients may also experience soreness, tenderness and numbness for several weeks after treatment: these are not permanent and resolve in time.
The minimal invasiveness ensures rapid recovery compared with traditional facelifts. Patients are advised not to drive themselves home post-treatment due to residual numbness from local anesthetic.
What Side Effects Can I Expect?
Following Endolift you can expect swelling and bruising for up to 2 weeks after the procedure. As with any heating device, there is a risk of skin burns, discoloration or nerve bruising that may result in muscle weakness around the mouth for 3 to 6 months (though this is rare).
Most side effects are temporary. In rare cases involving lower-face treatments where nerves are closer to surface structures, transient motor nerve effects may occur but typically resolve without intervention.
Facial Endo Laser Bodylift/Lipolysis Laser Treatment by Arfurla 980nm 1470nm Multifunction Medical 12 in 1 Diode Laser Machine
Laser lipolysis bodylift is a fat-reducing and skin-rejuvenating procedure using advanced laser technology that targets the dermal and subdermal layers of the skin. It works by using micro-optical fibers as thin as a hair that are easily inserted into the superficial layer of the skin.
A thin laser fiber is inserted subcutaneously into the target tissue without incisions, and the area is treated evenly with a slow and fan-shaped delivery of laser energy.
The Arfurla system combines both 980nm and 1470nm wavelengths:
- 980nm Wave: Highly absorbed by hemoglobin; ideal for vascularized tissue targeting with moderate absorption by water/fat; promotes coagulation with less bleeding; supports collagen remodeling
- 1470nm Wave: Highly specialized for lipolysis; efficiently melts fat due to high absorption by both fat/water; excellent for collagen stimulation & firming loose skin
This dual-wavelength technology allows practitioners greater control over precision fat reduction while simultaneously tightening tissue through collagen stimulation.

FAQ
Is Endolift painful?
No. The procedure uses local anesthesia so discomfort during treatment is minimal. You may feel pressure or warmth beneath your skin.
How long do results last?
While results vary per individual case based on age/skin condition/lifestyle factors—the tightening effects can last from one year up to five years depending on maintenance treatments if needed.
Can I combine Endolift with other treatments?
Yes. It’s often combined with non-invasive modalities like fillers or radiofrequency microneedling depending on your goals.
Who isn’t suitable?
Patients with severe sagging requiring surgical lifting or those having unrealistic expectations may be better candidates for traditional facelifts.
Is there scarring?
No incisions are made—only micro punctures through which fiber optics pass—leaving no visible scars post-procedure.
