Product Details
The Arfurla Radial Fiber is a single‑use, sterile optical probe engineered for endovenous laser ablation of varicose veins. Its 360° radial emission pattern uniformly delivers laser energy to the vein wall, promoting consistent photothermal damage and effective fibrotic closure while minimizing localized overheating and perforation risks

Designed for compatibility with both 980 nm and 1470 nm diode lasers, this fiber balances deep coagulation and superficial hemostasis to optimize treatment efficacy and patient comfort.

radial fiber-1

Length 3 meters
Diameter 400/600um
Application EVLT, fistula, fissure

Connector & Sterility

A standard SMA‑905 metal ferrule provides secure coupling to laser handpieces, minimizing back‑reflection and power loss during EVLA procedures .

Each Radial Fiber is ETO‑sterilized, double‑packed, and individually sealed to guarantee single‑patient use and eliminate cross‑contamination

radial fiber-2radial fiber-3 Clinical Applications & Benefits

Arfurla’s Radial Fiber is indicated for endovenous laser ablation (EVLA) of the great and small saphenous veins, offering:

Uniform Vein Closure: 360° emission ensures circumferential thermal denaturation and consistent fibrotic sealing, reducing rates of recanalization compared to bare‑tip fibers.

Reduced Post‑Op Discomfort: By avoiding direct forward‑beamed “hot spots,” radial fibers lower the incidence of post‑procedural pain, ecchymosis, and perivenous inflammation.

Enhanced Ultrasound Visibility: The rounded, encapsulated tip is easily visualized under duplex imaging, facilitating precise fiber positioning and safe pull‑back maneuvers.

Beyond EVLA, the Radial Fiber can be employed for endovenous thermal ablation in collateral perforator veins, as well as off‑label subdermal photocoagulation in proctology and gynecological applications where uniform circumferential energy delivery is advantageous.

Precautions for optical fiber disinfection:

  1. Sodium hypochlorite or low temperature plasma or ethylene oxide is recommended for disinfection.
  2. Do not disinfect with high temperature and high pressure. The optical fiber wrapped in the metal head will be damaged due to degumming and displacement when heated.

radial fiber-6

3.If it is necessary to soak, the metal head should not be soaked with water, and the metal head must be left outside the disinfection box.

4.Disinfection time: 5-10 minutes.

How to protect and use the radial fiber

Including the radial fiber with sharp tip for Hemorrhoids, and the radial fiber for EVLT and fistula.

When you put the fiber inside of the needle, please do it like the photo we showed you, do not let the whole glass tip out of the needle, only half outside.

Each Conical Fiber is packed in sterile pouches with a 3‑year shelf life, ensuring single‑patient use and eliminating cross‑contamination risks.
